Im fairly sure you guys know that i love cars, i wrote this lil thought in my blog on Myspace awhiles back, but i figure you guys would enjoy it. I had this thought while i and my dad were restoring our cars, and i thought about this a long time..... Enjoy!

Restored.

Everyone has seen a very nice looking clssic car, some of us have seen the cars that have lost their luster, some are total rustbuckets..... Peoples hearts are the same way... If their is sin in your life, your "Paint" could have lost its luster or if you let sin fester it can turn you into a rusbucket. Before you are saved your heart is pretty much a"rust bucket" that is in need of a restoration...... the good thing is this God is the "Great Restorer", he can take somebodys life and completely change it, all you have to do is accept Jesus as your savior. As soon as you do that ur heart is "restored" and God gives you a second chance. Some times after a car is restored people dont take care of them, and they let their cars deteriorate, the paint loses its luster, and it starts to bubble.... if they dont do something soon it will need to be restored again. Sometimes Christians do the same.... they backslide , they start living in the world, and they get to where they shouldnt be with God, their "paint" loses its luster and they begin to rust. Thats why some times people have to rededicate, and give their lives back to God and be "restored" again. So now i ask you... what condition is your heart in is it a pristine shining example of the best kind? Or has it lost its luster and sin has started to creep in causing your re;ationship with God to become less than what it used to be? Or is it a rustbucket.... in a complete need of a restoration? Let me tell you God can restore your heart and you will never be the same.

Great thought Andy! We all get a littlie rust on us from time to time. Sometimes we even "scratch the paint" and it gets a little deeper. It gets beyond "our repair" and we have to go to the Great Restorer that you talked about! Have a great week! I guess your busy packing up.

P.S. Can you bring home some milk!!
